Hyang-To-Gol Korean Restaurant
Korean cuisine was seldom on the top of my dining list. However I was told by my friend that this Hyang-To-Gol Korean Restaurant at Amara Hotel is pretty good by word of mouth from others. Judging by the name of the restaurant, my guess was there must be some level of authenticity in the food there. So we decided to give it a try.
The moment I stepped inside the restaurant, it made me thought of Jewel In The Palace. The staffs were all dressed in the traditional customes and greeted us in Korean. As both of us were first-time diners, we were suprised by the restaurant's generosity – a spread of 10 small side dishes, are provided free-of-charge for every table. I must say the kimchi is really good, though I am not a big fan of it. We had the hot pot and pan fried items, its a pity we did not try their bbq items as there are really too many things to choose from. Probably the next time when I have craving for korean food again and will go elsewhere to try.

Beef & more beef

A traditional Korean drum displayed at the entrance. Wonder how many will hit the drum for their good service haha..
